MUGs Condemns Islamophobic Beating in Las Vegas
Jul 15th, 2012 by Mr Moo
Muslim Umbrella Groups, A British Muslim Organisation, condemns the recent savage beating of a young man of Pakistani origin, Aamir Khan, in Las Vegas. Aamir was forced to strip to his underwear and parade before a baying crowd. In this humiliating state Aamir had his fingers bound in constraining gauntlets, and forced to fight. There is evidence that the event may even have been recorded and streamed on the internet, echoing the savage beating of Rodney King that led to the LA riots in the early 1990′s.
This barbaric and merciless beating, where a young man, going about his business and doing no harm to anyone as he has done for most of his professional career, is shocking. His peaceful and winsome nature is there for all to see. This experience has left Aamir exposed, humiliated and unable to leave the house without being mocked by all.
Justice must be done and the perpetrators of violence should be bought and held to account for their actions. MUGs calls for all violence against millionaire ambitious glass-jawed boxers of Muslim origin to stop. MUGs have campaigned long to highlight the growing trend of violence against flag-draped pugilists. This latest assault demonstrates the shocking reality of this phenomenon. It is time for all of us to take MUGs seriously.
Notes to Editors:
Muslim Umbrella Groups (mugs) is an umbrella group of Muslim umbrella groups, working hard to promote itself and its members, but mainly itself. MUGs is currently working on its website, which the CEO’s brother-in-law is doing in between his main job at a FTSE100 company unrelated to web design but because he is an expert at COD, and cleaned a virus off a floppy disk back in 1997 everyone thinks you know, he is good at the computer stuff.
